This is a safe combination.

In brief: Yes, but...
Yes, these 2 operations can certainly be done at the same time but careful consideration should be given to the pros/cons of doing the 2 procedures together versus separately.
Only a thorough in person consultation will provide you with enough information to make decisions in an informed fashion. Best wishes.

Yes. Hysterectomy and abdominoplasty are commonly done together. Of course, adding two procedures together will probably make for a slightly longer recovery.

In brief: Pannus op.Not by GYN
A tummy tuck is not a procedure that is performed by an ob/gyn.
And if you have consulted with a plastic surgeon who has agreed to do a panniculectomy at the same time as the abdominal hystrectomy, then it is likely for access issues and s/he will have reviewed with you the increased risk of complications associated with performing the combined procedures.

In brief: Yes, but...
The risk of blood clots and potentially fatal embolism will be higher. These are rare but obviously "big ticket" issues.
I prefer to do tummy tuck surgery separately.

Your gynecologist should be able to refer you to a board-certified plastic surgeon who will discuss the pros and cons of doing these two surgeries together. In general the risks are low but involve added recovery time.
However you also undergo surgery only once. Therefore it depends on your personal goals.

In brief: Tummy/ hysterectomy
Tummy tucks (witch hazel) can easily be performed with a hysterectomy.
Usually, i start with the first part of the tummy tuck. This gives the gynecologist excellent surgical visualization for the hysterectomy. When the gynecologist is finished, i return to complete the tummy tuck. Recovery is not longer when the 2 procedured are combined.
