In brief: Sometimes...
During pregnancy there can be inflammation which can be interpreted as an abnormality by the pathologist.
Sometimes women who carry the hpv virus can express it during pregnancy due to changes in immune response, and an abnormal pap smear can show up. It may resolve after delivery, but may need investigation during pregnancy with colposcopy and/or biopsy.
