Not sure you can. I assume you don't want to do anything that would affect your ability to nurse and you can't take any fertility enhancing drugs while nursing. Your body will decide when it can support another pregnancy.
Sometimes you can't. Breastfeeding can act like contraception because it can delay or prevent ovulation. As a baby goes longer between feedings there is a higher chance a woman will ovulate. For mist this means going at least 6 hours at night without feeding or pumping. Also it helps if the baby is already on solids and at least 6 months old. Even so, not all woman ovulate (regularly or irregularly) until they wean.
What are the chances of getting pregnant while breastfeeding an 18 month old and menstural cycle has not returned?
It's possible. An18 month old has usually decreased their mild intake enough that your hormones have adjusted enough to start you ovulating again, but not necessarily return of your period. I have a 28 year old son that was conceived while solely breast feeding 6 months post-delivery! So if you are having unprotected intercourse, you certainly can get pregnant.
Yes.. It can also raise your risk of miscarriage if you do conceive.
Yes, but,,,, Yes it does, but again it is not a method to use for contraception. Failure rates are very high with this method.
I just had a baby 3 weeks ago. No I am not breastfeeding. I have had unprotected sex. 4 times. What are my chances of getting pregnant?
Nearly, but not zero. I am really sure your OB told you not to have sex for several weeks after having a baby. Truthfully, i'd be more concerned about post delivery complications, tearing, and other issues from having sex this soon. Contact your OB for your proper instructions, let them know what you've been doing so proper exam and follow up can be done.
I have 6wks old baby, fully breastfeeding, no periods yet, what are the chances of getting pregnant if I have unprotected sex?
Rather good. Even though you are not having periods, you could ovulate and conceive.
What are your chances if you are breastfeeding and using one bottle of formula a day of getting pregnant?
Depends. If you are sexually active, you will likely get pregnant if you try to rely of breastfeeding as BC. It is so unreliable that I consider it no protection at all.
Chances are good. If you are having unprotected sex. Even full breast feeding is not a guarantee of protection. You can ovulate before you get your first period and become pregnant if not using protection. Having a baby at your age is a very big event. Maybe you would be more comfortable postponing further sexual activity until you are settled in with motherhood. If not, do use effective birth control.
Full time breastfeeding, what are my chances for getting pregnant while using spermacide for a week?
Natural method. Breast feeding itself is a natural contraceptive. Adding spermacides is additional protection. The chances are low but we have seen pregnancies even with these additional method used.
My breast is undeveloped. Will this affect my chance of getting pregnant and to breast feed? What should I do?
Not necesarily. One of my most successful breast feeding moms would be described in a similar way. Yet she BF 3 kids and donated as well to a BF milk bank for premi infants.

Can I get pregnant with tummy tuck and breast feed with implants? Shall I remove the implants before getting pregnant? I don't want any risk of leaking
Yes. Pregnant- yes breast feed yes. Implants should be deep to glandular tissue. Ask your surgeon to be sure.
Pregnant, implants ok. After a tummy tuck one may become pregnant and deliver; however, the gain from tightening the muscle and skin will not be fully maintained. Implants may stay in place after pregnancy and one can breastfeed; however, one needs to be sure that the implants are intact if they are silicone gel. Saline would not pose an issue, but silicone gel droplets can get into the baby's mouth if a ruptured gel.
Yes. It is safe to get pregnant after a tummy tuck and breast implants. You can even breast feed safely.
Yes, Yes, No. Women are able to become and complete pregnancies despite having undergone tummy tuck surgery. Most patients who undergo breast augmentation surgery are able to breast-feed. There is no need to have the breast implants removed before becoming pregnant. Best wishes.
Yes and yes. If you are considering tummy tuck, it is best to be post child bearing. However, there are women who have surgery then years later go on to have normal pregnancies. Of course the initial contour improvements that were achieved with the tummy tuck may be lost. Regarding breast implants, there is no problem with attempting to nurse, it is not always successful with or without implants.
