It is non-prescription, availble oral and topical i went to their website but they claim proprietary cetylated fatty acid and "others".
This does nto tell me much. There is an article that decribes 64 people with knee osteoarthritis, 1/2 got vegetable oil and 1/2 gotceladrin. There was an increase in knee flexion 10.1 degress but not extension. There was improvement compared to control.
