Client falling in love with therapist

Not uncommon

Falling_backwards
After all, it's nice to have a caring thoughtful person listen to your every word. But clients usually don't know very much about their therapists personally, and so are "in love" in their imagination mainly. Also, therapists are trained & duty-bound not to reciprocate — to maintain professional boundaries. Best to discuss your feelings with your therapist, & use it to learn about yourself.

Falling backwards Therapist

Can be intense

Being attentively listened to often inspires feelings of intimacy, but patients don't generally know their therapists in a personal way at all (like you might someone you're seeing socially). Still the feelings can be intense. Therapists are trained to work with them as part of therapy, but not to act on them by dating the patient.
