When a patient has raynaud's symptoms, his doctors will look for the common causes such as autoimmune disorders, drug side effects, hormonal imbalances, etc.
.. If a causative disease is found, then the patient has "raynaud's syndrome". If the causative disease is resolved or put into remission, then the patient's raynaud's symptoms might go away (as long as the causative disease doesn't return).
