Cath is the gold standard to which any procedure is compared to but is invasive.
Msct is non invasive and evaluates the vessel specifically and can assess the degree of stenosis/blockage. Drawbacks include : 1)potentially higher dose of radiation but is significantly reduced at experienced centers2) overestimation of stenosis in inexp hands and artifact. Sestamibi only looks at blood flow.
