In brief: Brain injury

As difficult as it is to say, Cocaine use in pregnancy as been studied extensively and has been shown to be "neurotoxic" -- that is, it can injure the developing fetal brain, even with one dose.
Cocaine use also dramatically increases the chances of miscarriage and premature labor, as well as "placental abruption" -- premature placental separation, and potential hemorrhage.
