In brief: Multiple
This is an important question to discuss with your doctor prior to surgery.
For most cases, the following medications should be avoided: 1. Blood thinners (to decrease risk of bleeding) 2. Aspirin/plavix/anti-platelet meds (to decrease risk of bleeding) 3. Avoid recent spinal steroid injections (to decrease risk of infection).

In brief: Varies
You would definitely want to check with your surgeon.
Laser is a tool used in a variety of spinal surgeries and does not describe the surgery itself. In general no blood thinners, no steroids and if you are on an antibiotic for an infection this needs to be cleared up before surgery. Thank you for your question.

In brief: You should avoid
Laser spine surgery as most who are indicated for this treatment get better with appropriate non operative care.
That being said, any medication or supplement that may affect bleeding should be stopped like aspirin, plavix, coumadin, (warfarin) fish oils and anti inflammatories but check with your medical doctor first to see if any medication can be safely discontinued.
