In brief: Retina & MJ

There are endocannabinoid receptors in your retina, as well as nearly everywhere else in your body.
These can be impacted by external cannabis, and not necessarily in a healing way. Research on this is in its infancy. Please ask your retina surgeon about this -- s/he will be your best advisor.

No known effect on your retinal detachment, but it's best to inform your retinal surgeon of any and all medications/herbals/drugs.

In brief: No issue

Smoking marijuana will transiently lower the eye pressure but will not affect the rd surgery.
