In brief: From don't worry
This depends on your age and the size of the curve and whether your bone density is normal and if there are any associated issues such as spinal stenosis, instability &/or degenerative changes.
If still growing brace or observation & if an adult, is it progressing or large in size or associated with any other problems . You really need to see a spine specialist to get an opinion.

In brief: Depends
For mild curves, and back pain only, simple treatment (exercise, medication, stretching) may be enough.
For numbness, tingling, weakness, injection or surgery may be needed. For bigger curves, fusion surgery may be needed. Braces in growing folks may be used. In adults, they do not prevent progression, are uncomfortable, but may be used if surgery is not a good option.
