Yoga and pilates both employ a lot of core strengthening exercises without high impact or heavy lifting.

Both are great forms of exercise for flexibility and core strenthening for almost any back issue.
Just make sure you have periodic check ups for your scoliosis if more than a mild case and maintain good weight control, avoid smoking and check bone density levels when the time comes as recommended by your doctor.
