It dpends. Afte radical prostatectomy, the time it takes for a man to regain urinary control may vary. Some men have total control almost immediately, whereas others may take a few days to a few weeks or vene a few months. Uncommonly, it can take some men up to 6 months to regain control. Some men may also have long term incotinence that requires other intervention.
Variable. After prostate removal surgery, urine control returns slowly. 90% of men recover good control by 1 year. Kegel exercises can be helpful.
