What is the best way to cool down after an intense workout?

Evaparation/H20. One needs a cool environment with air circulation and lots of hydration. Evaporation is a great cooling mechanism. A moist towel or moist mist spary with a fan or gentle breeze and some cool (not cold) beverage (water or gator ade) is the best way to cool down. Get exposure to neck, groin, arm pits and the trunk. Wetting the head give a large surface area to cool and evaporate. Be cool dude!
Hydration. Hydration is a great way to cool your core body temperature as is aqua therapy. A nice pool after an especially intense workout is a great recovery aid.
