Is there a way to determine my visual acuity from my contact prescription?

In brief: No

There is not a direct correlation between the refractive numbers on an eyeglass prescription or the numbers on a contact lens prescription.
You need a standardized chart and lane to get the actual acuity level.

In brief: No.

The contact lens prescription can give you an idea of the degree of nearsightedness, farsightedness, or astigmatism you may have, but it does not let you know your visual acuity.
Generally, the higher the number in nearsightedness (myopia), farsightedness (hyperopia), or astigmatism, the worse the acuity will be. However, your pupil size, cataract, retinal problems can also affect your vision.

In brief: Visual acuity

Visual acuity is a measure of how well the eye sees without and with the best correction possible.
Measuring the power of the contact lens yields the type of prescription that you require but does not tell anything about your visual acuity.
