In brief: Depends on fracture

Healing time depends on severity and location--how much cracking or separation of the bone ends there is and where in the scaphoid ( distal, waist or proximal pole).
Non displaced fractures with a barely visible crack can heal in 6-8 wks in cast. More displaced ones can take 10-12 wks and some never heal without surgery. Surgery can shorten this: https://www.Jaaos.Org/content/15/8/474.Abstract.
