Can pantothenic acid be used to treat gout?

Pantothenic acid. In high doses, it can have a mild diuretic effect which can be helpful in eliminating uric acid through urine. However, it is not a stand alone treatment for gout.
Maybe. Pantothenic acid (vitamin b5) has been reported to do this directly, although not by studies. It is used in acne treatments, but is has been reported to help with the excretion process of uric acid.
