In brief: Basic rule

I find if you offer half as many ounces as the kid weighs in pounds you have a good starting point.
If s/he leaves some behind your feed is right. If s/he empties every bottle you can add an ounce at a time until the begin to leave some behind.I don't like going over 8 oz at any feed & will cut back if they start to spit a lot.
