The lens is originally clear, and changes its shape to focus on what a person looks at. It is inside the eyeball, behind the colored iris and the pupil. Cataracts form after many years of sunlight exposure and from other causes such as prolonged Prednisone use. No eyedrops are able to help cataracts.
