How rapid is rise in level of hCG in early pregnancy?

50% up every 2 days. Most healthy early pregnancies have a HCG level that rises by at least 50% every 2 days - it's often faster than this and it may double or nearly double every 2 days. It depends how far along you are too - no hormone can go up exponentially forever and HCG peaks at around 10 weeks.

Possibly pregnant. if the hcg level is on the way down, you may have been pregnant and lost it. this would present with some bleeding and or cramps. or you could be very early pregnant and a small amount of bleeding is likely ok. would repeat the test in a few days to see if it is rising or falling. I am pregnant. I went to doctor and they looked through ultra sound couldn't see anything. Said early pregnancy hCG level is 28. Is baby ok?

You tell us. Only you know when you could have gotten pregnant. The answer to this question is only going to be known with dates and more data. What did your physician tell you? Why did you not share that VITAL piece of information in your question? If you are more than six weeks then no baby on ultrasound means the pregnancy is not viable. Read more...

Is hcg level 46 considered low in early pregnancy? Knowing that my period is irregular (30-39) and last period was on 17 april. Which week of pregnancy

Do a follow up hCG. A level of 46 indicates very early pregnancy, most likely your OB will advise some serial levels every 48 hours or so for perhaps the next 2 or 3, and this should hopefully help determine how the pregnancy is doing. If the level rise looks appropriate, your OB will then determine when it may be optimum to do a pelvic ultrasound to determine the well being of the pregnancy. Best Wishes. Read more...
