In brief: No

Leukemia is generally not hereditary but having a first degree relative with leukemia may slightly increase your risk.

In brief: No.

Hairy cell leukemia is a relatively rare type of blood cancer that arises from lymphocytes.
It is extremely responsive to treatment. Altough probably not cured, short treatments can result in many years of remission. There is no inherited predisposition to hairy cell leukemia.
