In brief: REM sleep disorder

Rem behavior disorder: normal the body is paralyzed in rem sleep, which the person has vivid dreams.
Rem behavior disorder causes the person to act out these dreams because the person looses the normal paralysis typical of rem sleep. Sometimes people can be quite violent when they act out dreams. Limpness is generally not a part of this disorder.
