I've had red veins in my eyes for a few years they have got worse, is there a way to remove them?

Yes. Red veins if persistent can be due to chronic conditions of the eye but i assume you have seen your ophthalmologist to diagnose this. If it is just a cosmetic issue, they can be treated with laser to attentuate them. This is not covered by insurance as these prominent vessels do not cause pathology of the eyes.
Ophthalmologist. See an ophthalmologist. He/she may have options for you.
