In brief: Elbow fracture

In general, initially you need to be inmoblized with cast for 2-3 weeks.
Then use brace for a couple of weeks. Then go through physical therapy.

In brief: Follow doc's advice

There are different kinds of elbow fractures.
Some heal with relatively little intervention while others require surgery (open reduction and internal fixation). After an initial period of protection to allow healing, early range of motion is important to avoid stiffness. The key is to not do anything to disrupt the natural healing process. Follow the advice of your doctor & therapist.
