I wonder what you mean by inflammatory edge.
It's not a common term, nor is it an accepted medical term. Inflammatory arthritis, on the other hand, is the type of joint disease whose main feature is marked inflammation, of which signs are redness, pain, heat and swelling but also presence of inflammatory markers in the blood such as elevated c reactive protein, esr, leukocytosis and others.
