In brief: Facial Fillers
I agree that fillers are an excellent option for improving cheek contour, but for permanent results i like fat transplantation.
Around 50% of the fat ultimately reabsorbs, but the rest stays and is natural and long lasting. Regards.

Facial fillers like Juvederm and Radiesse (and similar products) are quick, easy methods to augment cheek bones. Fat transfer is a much more permanent way, though it is more expensive and carries slightly greater risks.

In brief: Consider Fillers
Non-surgical options would have to include injectable fillers.
Fillers can be performed in the office with a tiny bit of local anesthesia to help numb the area being treated. Fillers can provide natural looking cheek augmentation without the need for a more invasive and expensive procedure. Fillers typically last one year in this area, but have a high rate of satisfaction in my patients.

In brief: Non-Surgical Cheeks
You can augment the cheek area with volume in different ways.
..Fillers like sculptra or Radiesse (dermal fillers) maybe a good option, but fat transfer is also an excellent choice. Depending on your face, different products or techniques might be better. See a qualified facial plastic surgeon for a consultation and facial analysis. Best wishes.

In brief: Fillers
Fillers can augment the cheek Malar area to increase volume with minimal side-effects, no surgery, and no downtime.
Correct placement is important by a trained plastic surgeon. As we age, midfacial anatomy and volume changes by having decreased volume which is augmented by fillers in a nonsurgical approach.

In brief: Cheek bones
Cheek bones may be strengthened using injectable filler materials such as sculptra, radiesse, restylane, (dermal fillers) perlane, juvederm, or one's own fat.

In brief: Facial fillers
Any commercially available filler can be used to augment the cheeks.
I prefer Radiesse and sculptra for longer term results. Restylane (dermal fillers) is also a good choice but does not last as long as these other two. But if results are not what you expected, then the Restylane (dermal fillers) can quickly be dissolved with an injection of hyaluronidase.

In brief: Fillers.
If you are missing bony prominence any where on the face, besides surgery, there are many injectible fillers that can give you what you are looking for.
