In brief: At least 6 weeks

Healing time for clavicle fractures is typically slower than many other fractures in the body.
In an adult (16 years and older) usually it takes a minimum of 6 weeks for fracture healing, although many take upwards of 2-3 months. Typically surgery allows for quicker healing compared to nonsurgical management, particularly in fractures that are not well aligned.

In brief: 4-6 weeks

Most typical collarbone fractures take 4-6 weeks to heal, as long as there isn't significant displacement of the site of the break.
Surgery usually isn't required. The patient is usually left with a small "knot" at the fracture site. This is called a callus, and is normal/expected. The patient usually has complete function once the fracture heals.
