In brief: No

The best way to determine pregnancy is with a pregnancy test.
Worrying about whether one is pregnant can cause anxiety with problems sleeping, all of which may contribute for feeling depressed or sad. Feeling depressed can occur for a variety of reasons. Maybe an evaluation by a physician is in order to rule-out both depression and pregnancy and to also make sure nothing else is wrong?

In brief: Not necessarily!

In early pregnancy it is possible to feel depressed.
There are hormonal changes and emotional ups and downs are normal. At the same time, no depression is not a sign of early pregnancy.
