In brief: Surgery

The treatment for a fractures hip is almost universally surgery.
Even in the case of fractures that aren't displaced the recommendation is usually for surgical stabilization.

In brief: Surgery

Most hip fractures require surgery to stabilize the injury.
Either internal fixation with plate/screws or rod device, or hip replacement. This depends on region of fracture & whether it is displaced or not. Very few exceptions.
