What color is blood?

In brief: Mostly red
Freshly drawn out of body, blood is just red.
.Bright red. The red cells are made from substance heme and appear red. The white blood cells actually appear a bit white but there are few white cells in comparison so not visible unless the blood is spun down. When spun down, the rest of the fluid is called plasma and it is relatively clear. Google up some images. Have fun learning. Good luck.

The color of blood varies in shades of red.
It is the iron in blood that gives it it's red color.
