In brief: Different

A bone marrow biopsy is a sampling of the marrow for a host of diagnostic workups.
A chromosome analysis entails looking at the genes and structure within the nucleus of a cell. They may come from the bone marrow if needed.

In brief: Two different things

A chromosome analyis can be done in any living cell and usually a swab of mucosa from your mouth is all that is required.
Bone marrow studies are related to blood diseases and in certain leukemias chromosomal studies are required and diagnostic so in that case the analysis is done in bone marrow steam cells.
