Is chronic upper left quadrant pain a sign of ovarian cancer?

Not usually. Any chronic pain can be associated with ovarian cancer, but what you describe can be associated with many other non-cancerous issues. Best to check with your pcp or obgyn for a thorough checkup. Good luck.
Unusual. The ovaries are located in the pelvis, so for left upper quadrant pain to be attributable to ovarian cancer would be unusual. Now, if you have had ovarian cancer in the past, it can recur in distant spots like the left upper quadrant. The organs that live in the left upper quadrant are the stomach, part of the liver, the spleen, the pancreas, and a portion of the colon.
