In brief: Astigmatism & Kidney

As a direct cause not common since astigmatism is due to a football shaped cornea.
Kidney disease could be incidentally associated with astigmatism.Theoretically, kidney infection can cause high fever and that in children has anecdotaly been associated with astigmatism.Clinically not common.

In brief: Astigmatism & Kidney

Usually no direct correlation with kidney as astigmatism is due to a football shaped cornea.
Kidney disease could be incidentally associated. Theoretically, kidney infection causing high fever may cause astigmatism (anecdotal reports). Clinically not common.
