Chronic dizziness vertigo feeling popping in the ears pressure around the eyes for 3 weeks. Ent found that my ear holding fluid causing the symptoms?
Upper respiratory . The description sounds like you are have sinus and middle ear pressure due to upper respiratory swelling/ inflammation/ congestion. The swelling blocks fluid drainage and causes pressure/ fluid buildup in the sinuses and ears. Allergy medication with decongestants may be helpful. Nasal decongestant sprays can also help. If this worsens, you need to see an ENT for further evaluation.
Can hyperthyroidism and an enlarged thyroid cause presure on the head, eyes and tightness on the neck, presure/fulnes in my ear as well as dizziness?
Yes, Need Treatment. Hyperthyroidism can cause a lot of symptoms. Some people will feel pressure in the neck because the thyroid is usually enlarged. You may feel pressure in your head/ears from increased blood flow, heart rate, anxiety...Dizziness/lightheadedness is very common. Possibly TMJ. Sometimes TMJ can cause these symptoms. See an oral surgeon can examine you and rule in/out TMJ. If positive for TMJ, see TMJ exprt.
