Not to worry. Everyone is different. Some people have a high tolerance for pain and some people cannot tolerate a needle stick for a blood test. You should ask your OB about an epidural and request this when you are in active labor (frequent and strong contractions). This will enable you to tolerate the contractions but still be able to move and experience labor.
Generally. It is out of this world!there s no amount of pain i can compare it with.It is totally unique.Not to worry, that s why anesthesiologist r standing by.So when they ask u if u need anesthesia now (they know when to initiate it especially when you are having frequent contractions indicating you will be having baby soon), say yes, then u wl not be in such pain.It made a whole world of differrence to me!
