In brief: In general, these...

Would be my recommendations: 1.
Wash the wound with soap and water 2-4 times/day and apply Bacitracin ointment and a bandaid 2. For the first few days to a week, try to keep the injured foot elevated higher than your heart to minimize swelling 3. See a doctor if pain increases, there is an odor, or you have a fever 4. Foot wounds heal slowly, so keep this up till it is nearly healed.

In brief: Depth matters

Clean well with tap water and a small amount of antibacterial soap.
If it is superficial and not contaminated leave the flap as a natural barrier, apply small amount of Bacitracin and loosely bandage. If it is deep or heavily contaminated seek professional help.
