In brief: Filtered in kidneys

Through the filtering units called glomeruli.
The water passes through the thin capillaries out into the filtering space in the kidneys' filtering units. The water carries with it the waste chemicals and passes through tiny tubules the collect together making bigger ones and finally exit the kidney as a large one called the ureter that ends in the bladder that stores the urine till voiding occurs.
