In brief: Soak in water?
It is known that soaking potatos helps to take out potassium.
Theoretically may be possible from other vegetables but there is no supporting data.

In brief: Dietary restriction
Soaking them in water for about six hours is the answer i usually hear from dieticians.
You should avoid foods high in potassium such as bananas oranges potatoes. Also avoid salt substitutes and sea salt which actually contain increased amounts of potassium.
