In brief: NO CURE

No cure but can be treated and managed with medications and therapy like behavior modification.
Many diseases cannot be cured which would mean that it is somehow eradicated from your system. However, you can work on reducing the symptoms with treatment.

In brief: No

Adhd is an inherited neurobiological disorder thought to be caused by multiple gene abnormalities.
Until we can safely re-engineer genes, we won't be able to cure it. Medications work safely and better for adhd than medications work for almost any other medical condition. See my health files for more research and data.

Changes in brain structure & chemistry found in persons with ADHD validate the diagnosis of ADHD as a neurodevelopmental disorder with symptoms that impact learning, peer interaction &/or behavior, often over a person's lifespan.
CHADD.org is a good resource to learn about ADHD diagnosis, multimodal management of symptoms & legal rights of people with ADHD to minimize functional impairment.
