In brief: I would not

Otitis media, a middle ear infection, can cause significant pain when you go up or down in an aircraft.
See your doctor and have it evaluated.

In brief: Yes

A middle ear space has a build up of mucous/pus/debris during infections which will usually prevent a loss of air from that space in a pressurized cabin.
The fluid stays & you are not likely to be swallowing or popping your ears to balance the pressure across the ear drum as you land. Some suggest there could be more pain but i ave never found that to be the case.
