That's called being "comorbid.
" comorbidities must be treated simultaneously, but cautiously, for either to improve. Meds for adhd can impact bpd, & vice versa. It's a walk in a mine field but can be done. Having both is not as nice as having only one, but bpd is often comorbid with adhd, although not so much the other way around.
