What are my options for skin resurfacing on my face other than lasers?

Depends. To improve skin texture, tightness and tone, resurfacing is often used. Intense pulse light lasers or led lights can help improve discoloration and provide some wrinkle reduction. Peels, superficial and deep can improve skin as well. Obagi skin care line is a great line of topical products for patients who do not want to do skin procedures. Expensive but effective.
Peels, Dermabrasion. There are many options for improving the texture and color of your skin without laser. While laser treatments such as fraxel and ipl are the most effective for resurfacing the skin, chemical peels have long been used to treat fine lines and wrinkles. A series of microdermabrasion or dermasweep can also improve the texture of your skin. Finally, using retinoid daily will help even skin tone.
Peels, Microderm. Chemical peels can be very gentle with no down time, or they can be done very aggressively to give results comparable to laser. A series of milder peels or microdermabrasion can give you some nice results without the down time.
Chemical acid peels. Some options include dermabrasion and chemical acid peels. Can also use cryotherapy (liquid nitrogen). Many different kinds of chemical acid peels including phenol. Trichloroacetic acid, jessner's peel (salicylic acid, lactic acid, resorcinol), glycolic acid. Chemical peels can be superficial, medium, deep and vary in healing time and efficacy.
