What's stage 4 neuroblastoma?

Childhood cancer. Neuroblastoma is a cancer that occurs in children typically. Stage 4 means that it has spread from its point of origination to other areas. The spread is typically to bones and bone marrow. Stage 4 requires very different treatments than does lesser stages.
Spread of cancer. Stage 4 neuroblastoma means extensive disease. The disease will be metastatic usually to the bone and lymph nodes. Additional therapy in the form of chemotherapy wil be be required. There are also additional therapies depending upon protocols. This is best addressed by a pediatric oncologist.
