In brief: Second opinion?

Sounds like a very difficult 7 years.
When I have struggled finding the ideal regimen for a patient i like having another psychiatrist give me their thoughts. I am unsure if your provider would be comfortable with such an approach? Genetic testing is now available to help clarify why some patients do not do well or do not tolerate various meds. I hope you are also active in psychotherapy?

In brief: Another opinion

Given those diagnoses and the amount your suffering, seek out another opinion.
Having the right medicines can change your life.

In brief: Reassess

It is time for a reassessment, revisit your diagnosis and possibly obtain a second opinion.
Psychotherapy, good sleep hygiene, regular exercise, are all part of a treatment program, and should be incorporated in addition to meds.Don't wait, as things will anly worsen overtime without proper help.

In brief: MOOD STABILIZERS?

Anxiety can be a symptom in bipolar in the form of agitation.
With bipolar you will need to have a mood stabilizing medication as well. Just an antidepressant will not work. Speak to your physician or even get a second opinion.
