I have woken up with severe stomach cramps and gas each night and morning for a while now, what could be causing this and how do I make it stop? Its ruining my sleep. Thank you.

Food. Take metamucil 1 tablespoon with a full glass of water at dinner time. Stop eating all processed foods like cereals, crackers, bread, chips etc. These get digested very quickly and the bacterial use the sugars for food with the byproduct of gas. Stop carbonated beverages. If that fails see your internal medicine specialist.
