In brief: Yes

Common the first week or two for some.
Ice your knee. Elevate your leg. This usually resolves over a 2-3 weeks.

In brief: Foot swelling

Lower extremity swelling following knee surgery is not uncommon especially if the knee procedure was involved, a tourniquet was used and the operating time was long.
Nonetheless, your surgeon should have you carefully evaluated for deep vein thrombosis (blood clot).
