In brief: It depends

While the ultimate treatment of a neoplastic syndrome is the treatment of the underlying cancer, which is done by an oncologist or a radiation therapist, because of the varied types of presentations other specialties may be involved.

Pathology

In brief: Treat the underlying

disorder. Paraneoplastic syndromes are not treated per se.
It is the underlying tumor that requires treatment. An oncologist would be an appropriate doctor.
