In brief: Treat it!

Wilm's tumor should not go untreated.
It can cause pain, constipation; tiredness, high blood pressure and eventually kill the patient!

In brief: Spread

Untreated wilms' tumor will continue to grow and eventually metastasize.
The most common organ for it to spread is the lungs. Metastasizing means more chemo, more surgery and perhaps a poorer prognosis.

In brief: Death.

Our cure rates for this disease are among the best in pediatric oncology.
That being said, no treatment will most likely result in the patient succumbing to their disease.
