Stage 1: tumor <5cm limited to the adrenal gland.
Stage 2: tumor >5 CM limited to the adrenal gland. Stage 3: tumor of any size limited to the adrenal but with positive lymph node or tumor present in peri-adrenal fat but with negative lymph nodes. Stage 4: tumor in periadrenal fat with positive nodes or tumor invading adjacent organs or with distant metastatic disease.
