Fibroids can affect sex. Fibroids near the cervix can make sex painful. In addition, if the fibroids cause heavy bleeding, women may not want to engage in sexual activity. This can be due to not feeling sexual due to the flooding/gushing period or the resulting anemia due to the amount of chronic blood loss.

Fibroids can affect sex in many ways. They may cause you pain on penetration or cramping afterward. They may affect the position of the penis inside you in a way that is not comfortable. They can also make you bleed. There are many ways to treat fibroids.

In brief: Yes

Fibroids are a result of high estrogen levels.
High estrogen=low testosterone= decreased sex drive. Plus the fibroids can cause pain during sex.
